Neutral problems.

Post by Gh0sT21 »

Hy guys, I got a fzr 600, 91` and I have a neutral problem.
So I was coming home from a short ride, and when I stopped in front of my house I noticed the neutral blinked, and I shifted in first and it stopped. I had this problem again but, that was when the season started, and then I was in gear (second If I remember well) I tried to give a little gas and it began to stall after shifting back to first and playing with the clutch a little, it worked well, the "neutral blink" had stopped and the bike runned well. I don`t know what could cause this problem. Please help.

Have you measured the neutral switch output, when the light is blinking?
1990 FZR 1000, 1993 engine, terrible state... but improving.

Check for security and condition of your connections at the neutral, clutch, and sidestand switches, as well as at the TCI and main relay assembly.

Hi,
most likely corroded connections on the safety switches mentioned by Don as they are close to all the crap from the road & chain.
