Wet sanding between coats helps to dampen the orange peels affect that occurs, it provides a smoother surface for your next layer of paint. A quide coat is also very useful, you spray a couple of layers of paint and then sand back to original, this then leaves the paint in the lower areas of the bodywork showing up which bits need attention.kilika2 wrote:I've seen something have always wanted to try. You put on to coats and then on the third when its still wet you take wrinkled up paper or something and press it against the paint. And then clear 8-9 times. The other alternative is doing what lambo does and wet sand in between coats and clear coats. That would be a lot of work. Worth it though.
