R6/R1 gauges and Yzf blue dot calipers

Post by WNY ROGO »

How easy/hard is it to put the blue dot's on the fzr. And whats easier to swap, the r1 gauges or r6 gauges. Or is there an easier digital gauge setup thats easier to install. Thanks for the help/info guys.

The calipers are a bolt on swap. Hardest part is bleeding them after you put them on. As far as the gauge swap is concerned...click here

read the write up on the gauges as it involves drilling into your transmission case for a speed sensor

Full Brake write up:-

as to digital tach stuff there appears to be some still unfinished business with the R1 set up as far as the tacho is concerned if memory serves
The required electronics Circuit is shown on :-

R1 gauges would be the easiest if you can get the tach converter for it.
