hi again ????? 1990 fzr 1000 brakes

are the front disc supposed to have a bit of play someone told me they are supposed have a bit of play they rattel a bit thats all but it stops great... :tard:

Are you saying the rotors "wobble"? If so no they aren't supposed to move.

Yes they are floating rotors & they should move on the rings.

Yes you are right & wrong at the same time.

The discs are supposed to be bolted tight to the hub & not move BUT they are "floating" rotor types and move on their locking pins that join the rotor (the area gripped by the brake pads ) to its own fixing plate to self align within the brake pads.

If they do not move the pins should be thoroughly cleaned so there is uniform movement right around the disc.
