Those heel guards look backwards. They'll be facing the wrong way when bolted on the bike I think....like they'll be going right up against the frame instead of away from it.

No, I didn't!
To make a long story short, the seller I bought these from had the listing including a new master cylinder, reservoir, hose, and clamps. Didn't send me them, so I emailed him and asked where they were. He said it was an error in the listing, but will honor his listing because it was his fault. Tried to tell me the only thing I was to get were the rear sets, but in bold letters under the picture had the above items listed in the auction. So, I have the above items coming. Guess I lucked out again!!! :grinnod:
Another week or so for those parts though.

Shouldn't be a problem, I'm having the brackets made to mount them 1" back and 1" up from stock.
I'll see when that time comes. Good eye though!!

I honestly think they are on the wrong sides. If they were switched they would follow the line of your heel if it's on the peg. As they are now you run the risk of poking your heel into the tire or chain.

You're right!! I'll switch them tomorrow. I sure wouldn't want my heel going into my chain or wheel. Thanks bro!!

Here's the set I modded to fit mine. I originally bought them for one of my GSXR's but decided to fit them to my FZR.
I still need to finish the brake side, but thats just a matter of making a small tab to bolt the lower bolt hole of the master cylinder too.

Not bad looking. Now pretty up the frame so the rearsets aren't the only bling.

All you did was drill another hole to line it up to your existing bracket? Looks simple enough. I thought you were going to come up with a bracket to mount it to? Really, all that needs to be made is a mount with all the adjustable holes that will fit to our FZR and then mount the peg bracket to it. What year rear sets are those again? And for what bike?

The rearsets where purchased for a 89 GSXR on evilbay. Yes all I did was drill a hole in each plate. I changed the clevis on the master cylinder that connects to the lever as well. I shortened and retapped the shift linkage rod as well. It was about 2" longer when I got them.
