Shouldn't be a problem, I'm having the brackets made to mount them 1" back and 1" up from stock.thatkid wrote:Those heel guards look backwards. They'll be facing the wrong way when bolted on the bike I think....like they'll be going right up against the frame instead of away from it.
I honestly think they are on the wrong sides. If they were switched they would follow the line of your heel if it's on the peg. As they are now you run the risk of poking your heel into the tire or chain.Dragon wrote:Shouldn't be a problem, I'm having the brackets made to mount them 1" back and 1" up from stock.thatkid wrote:Those heel guards look backwards. I'll see when that time comes. Good eye though!!
You're right!! I'll switch them tomorrow. I sure wouldn't want my heel going into my chain or wheel. Thanks bro!!thatkid wrote:I honestly think they are on the wrong sides. No, I didn't!
To make a long story short, the seller I bought these from had the listing including a new master cylinder, reservoir, hose, and clamps. Didn't send me them, so I emailed him and asked where they were. He said it was an error in the listing, but will honor his listing because it was his fault. Tried to tell me the only thing I was to get were the rear sets, but in bold letters under the picture had the above items listed in the auction. So, I have the above items coming. Guess I lucked out again!!!![]()
Another week or so for those parts though.
