Making some of my own bits too. Bodywork didn't have grommets or top hat washers to fix to frame...decided to make my own washers, another 4 to go:)

That coating looks a good match to what was discussed earlier Schmo.
Folk do manage to lose the Top hat bushes and destroy the rubber grommets too.

The correct fixing screws are the expensive item...I used to just scan auction sites and snap up job lots if cheap when they
were advertised. I also used to ask breakers if they had any lying about from a stripdown if buying other parts. I regularly got a handful cheap that way. If the chrome is a bit scruffy they can be polished up and clear coated.

Fairing brackets came back from powder coaters. .great finish in satin black...
Wheels will defo be next. Tyres are here but just waiting on discs arriving.
