Removing the upper triple

Do I need to support the front end to remove the upper triple clamp only?

i dont think you have to but i would i deffinatly wouldent leave it that way long if you dont
ones life is the way it is only because you allow it make it happen.

So long as your lower screws are tight, you'll be fine. Ummm - make sure they're tight before you pull the upper; you never know what some thud of a PO has done...

I've done it but I don't recommend it. The upper triple is going to be a bitch to put back on. You need to unweight the front.
