Pipe rubbing on the swingarm.

Post by delvryboy »

I just noticed it, I thought I felt a weird vibration. Its obviously been like this for awhile as the paint is worn off and there is some surface rust on the swingarm.

Should I bend the hanger out some, or just put some washers in between the pipe hanger and the mounting flange?

Thanks

Stock pipe? Aftermarket? Which brand?

Could be just a matter of looseningthe clamps for the mid-pipe and rotating the whole setup a little to gain clearance.

Yoshi slip on. Its bolted to the stock hanger. I'll see if I can rotate it.

I twisted it up a bit, slid the clamp a little lower, and used a couple of washers as spacers. Its all good now.

Hell, not even sure why I made a thread about this. banghead
