watch for flying objects

Post by manveru »

So yesterday i was riding my motorcycle, like any other day, and of course theres birds all over the road. Well one stupid dove decided to fly the wrong way and i hit him. He hit my motorcycle windscreen, bounced off, hitting me in the face, ripping my face shield off my helmet (along with breaking the mounts that hold it on) in the process. swear My face shield is held on with tape till i get i get a new helmet or parts. I think i'll go back with my gun bonkonhead

There is a road about 30 miles from me that is super straight, in decent shape, deserted, can see for a couple miles and perfect to test the top speed of the fizzer. It is a road that runs down to the Missouri river.

The only problem is that it is lined with cornfields on both sides and power lines. There must be a million birds on those lines.

I got the FZR to 135 and realized that I was at the point when the birds began to see/hear me and were flying off the lines too close to me... had to shut her down. Need to try it now with the full supersport exhaust. They should be able to hear me much sooner than when I had the SS2R slip-on.
