Does anyone have any recommendations for adjustable brake and clutch levers for a 1989 FZR600?
I bought some Chinese ones off EBay that we meant to fit a Fzr1000 Exup but they didn't fit onto the fzr600. They only cost £16 so not really a huge loss.
I'm looking to get some adjustable levers, as my front brake lever is such a reach for my hands that its getting annoying.
Thanks
Chris

Re: Adjustable levers
You won't find an aftermarket span adjustable set for that year.
Swap out the brake master cylinder for one from a post 1990 Yamaha that uses the same size callipers to utilise the brake lever.
For the clutch; use the whole lever assy. from the R6/R1 and get a span adjustable lever to suit. Fit a small spacer to the outer cable at the sprocket cover as the cable adjuster is not long enough with this combination.
(I use the complete assy from a Kwak something or other as it comes with a span adjustable lever std. because I am a cheapskate.)
This subject has been covered a bit in the section previously and quite a bit of info should emerge from a search.

Re: Adjustable levers
Cheers for that.
Is it best to swap out the brake lever for an R6 lever and master cylinder? Or should I just go for a post 1990 FZR brake lever and MC? I'm running the standard FZR600 calipers at the moment.
