1988 FZR400 Cheap Chinese Fairings

Post by architect »

Anyone have experience buying the OEM style Chinese Fairings off ebay? Fit terrible? Ugly? Really off and not worth the money at all? Thanks.

I've heard pretty decent reviews. It will take weeks for you to get it.

i bought a set, i have not had a chance to fit them other than installing the headlights into the upper
at first i thought there was no chance the mounting studs were going to line up- they were off an inch, emailed seller and he said trust me it will flex and fit- it did
unfortunitly i have a feeling that the rest of them will require being forced into position
they are made from very light guage plastic
paint is acceptable
a positive, i told them i was not going to run front turn signles and requested they fill the cutouts- they did for no extra charge
i had very fast email response
they took about 6weeks to recieve
they are far from the quality of OEM, on the flipside 400 fairings are extremly hard to find in mint condition, so it is a compromise because i feel a fullset of OEM would ebay for around $500 then they would still need repair and paint, maybe between $1000 and $1500 to do all that
i hope to fit them here in the next couple of months
