First I've seen with that many features but the Veypor 2 had a HUD about 5 years ago that gave you speed and and such.

Re: Helmet HUD
It sounds like a good idea but what all would you have to add to send info from the bike to the HUD. On a car you can Bluetooth off an obd2 port, do newer fuel injected bikes have a similar type plug you could use. Just trying to figure out how it would all work and be universal.

Re: Helmet HUD
I know my Buell has some stuff I don't understand. And a couple of the guys on my buell forum talk about chips that allow computer access and that these devices would work with our buell bikes. But if nothing else the phone and gps would work for our fzrs because it could be bluetooth and gps ran.

Newer FI bikes do have OBDII ports for downloading maps and diagnostics.

Re: Helmet HUD
Learn something new everyday.
I've always liked HUDs. Never had one in a vehicle tho.
That unit with a good Bluetooth headphone setup in a helmet, and I'd try wear it the truck.

Re: Helmet HUD
My brother and a partner tried to get something like this to market about ten years back..spent a ton of money, had prototypes made... ran into patent infringements with defense contractors..
Good luck to these folks.
