Re: help needed. hit a road block.
Try slow and steady force. Figure out a way to brace one side of the swingarm (the side the bolt is going to pop out of), use a hydraulic jack on the other side (against the wall, bench, something solid), put bar between jack head and axle end and slowly start jacking. Best case, it pops right out, worst case it comes out eventually but you might crush the swingarm a bit around the area where it's braced. A 2x4 on each side of the axle head though should distribute enough force into the edges to keep that from happening.

Re: help needed. hit a road block.
OK thanks nate. I don't care about the swingarm. it was extended and it handled awful.
Re: help needed. hit a road block.
I finally got the axle, out. I took a grinder and cut the swingarm in half on both sides. took one part off that was free and knocked thee axle out. but another problem. not only did the axle come out but the axle' a cylinder looking thing about 4 inches, the wheel bearing, wheel bearing seal, collar, and the brake caliper mount is all stuck on the axle. it looks like the cylinder piece and the wheel bearing is rusted in place everything else is free. what's next.
Re: help needed. hit a road block.
New wheel setup.
You are going to need a new axle anyway. So cut it in half and get your bracket and spacers off. You'll need new bearings and a new wheel spacer to go between the bearings. Since you have to buy new bearings, this is why I suggest getting the powder coating done or painting or what have you now. No point in spending the money on the bearings twice.

Re: help needed. hit a road block.
yea your right. I was going to get it powered coated. The shop near me said for the wheels frame swingarm it would be 250. so what was that cylinder thing that's stuck on the axle.
Re: help needed. hit a road block.
I'd be leery of any shop charging that low. Maybe you're in the sticks somewhere but any coater near me that's worth anything is going to charge close to 200 for just a frame.

Can someone tell me what part number 5 is and how i install it. The part came out of my wheel rusted and seized to my axle. The parts 5,2,4, and 29 all came out on my axle. So I will in deed have to cut it in half.

Re: help needed. hit a road block.
5 is wheel spacer that keeps the bearings from crushing in on themselves when torquing the axle down. You just put it in the wheels.

Re: help needed. hit a road block.
How do I take the dampers off that are behind the sprocket. its part number 6 on the fiche.
Re: help needed. hit a road block.
just pull the sprocket off, simple as thattclayton9 wrote:How do I take the dampers off that are behind the sprocket. its part number 6 on the fiche.
Re: help needed. hit a road block.
Tried that already. I found it to be not that simple. Behind the dampers are little notches that comes out on the other side on the inside of the wheel. I don't want to pull to hard and break them.
Re: help needed. hit a road block.
Did you try using heat and/or penetrating oil?

Can't you heat or use penetrating oil on rubber?
