how do I remove wheel bearings from wheels.

I'm sure that there is an expensive tool that exists, but I was thinking of taking a saws-all and splitting an iron pipe lengthwise in 2 axis's 90 degrees apart about 6" long. The pipe would be a smaller diameter than the inside diameter of the bearings and the cut end would flare out after you inserted it from the opposite side...similar to removing bearings from a bicycle. See if that works?

A hammer and a steel drift or punch.
Lay the wheel on a couple of 2x4's (along the edge of the rim) to create some space for the bearing to be driven out. Work in a "star" type pattern so as not to wedge the bearing into the wheel while trying to drive it out. One of the hacks at my dealership just uses a large flat bladed screw driver that had its shaft bent and a hammer. No real magic just be careful not to gawl the inside the wheel where the new bearing is going to sit. I suppose if you wanted to get fancy you could find a blind bearing puller or fashion someting up and the end of a slide hammer.

Once removed they are no longer good. Removal typically puts stress on the inner race which then puts lateral stress on the enclosed ball bearings, potentially putting a small dent or deformity in them, possibly even bending the cage in which they are enclosed. That's the beginning of the end.
I'm sure there's a youtube video showing motorcycle wheel bearing removal. Just be careful not to wedge it as somebody mentioned. Your wheel is probably aluminum and the bearing will be steel. If one is going to scratch the other, you can guess which on will be which.
