yzf header swap

Post by cntryboy85 »

i am looking at aftermarket mufflers for my 95 fzr 600 and found a header and muffler for 98 yzf 600. does any one know if it will swap over? i like the idea of 2-1-4 instead of the 4-1 set up the fzr header has.

I believe they will have to be widened to fit just like the r6 header.

YZF is a direct swap. I have a powder coated one if you are interested.

thanks for the info. i had heard that they were direct replacements but wasnt sure. just wanted to ask some one who knew more than i did. but i think i might go with the one i found and have it painted to match the color scheem i am going for. it comes with a D&D muffler also for 100.00 so i am very interested in this one. but thank you again.

so got to looking at mufflers and found a good deal on a yoshimura muffler. which one sounds better in yalls opinion? yoshi, d&d, or v&h? i have listened to them all on youtube but cant really get the best idea of how they sound due to camera quality or speaker quality.
