fzr 600 r 1995 change fairing ?

Hi all. I looked lot of information on internet but i cant find some concrete one that will assume i will not waste my money and it will work.

I want a change my fairing for r1 fairing. at least the tail if its easy, also the side if its doable because my left side are broked in the middle and i would like to change also the headlight one also that is cracked but maybe i can repair it but anyway, i looked some fairing and looks like they are not that so much expensive.

If some one had a fzr 1995 600 r genesis and swapped his fairing, or can give me a help or a good link i would appreaciate it.

Any fairing change when done right is going to require a fair amount of fabbing. I would suggest to start by reading the entire hybrid section, that will give you a very good indication of what has been done in the way of swaps. Good luck.

I personally went with a 99 r6, tail and upper then tied it into my FZR sides, with a 00 YZF tank, I heavily modified my rear Subframe with fabercated r6 style support brackets, and fabercated a bracket on my front frame neck to use the r6 fairing stay. All of it welded on.

Your build looks nice, so we need a welder machine to fit those bracket right, looks like its still a good little job, i can do it easy but its just the welder etc i will take a look.

I was sure there was like a bold on they was saling for a r1 tail like.

Anyway its winter aproaching so i have the time to do it

otherwise do you know a good place to buy aftermarket fairing that dosent cost like 150 each ? i tried to look ebay etc but they are all expensive for a fzr 600.

Yes those brackets were welded on.

I ended up getting my tail from someone on here for like $350 for everything. But check on the r1 boards and craiglist.

there is a link in my build to heath...... he did a r6. There was also mrfreeze And shredex they did r1 tail swaps.

Thanks a lot sir, i will try to take the exemple on you, i got the same color bike as the picture you show except my mag are like pink purple red i dont kno.

I brought all wire, choke,trotlle push and pull, speed cable, clutch, i took also new intake rubber for like 105 $ shipped, also new petcock, new tank cap gaz with key, new lever clutch and front brake, new handgrip,

and im not finished, im just waiting for tomorrow, i will get my bike i opened a tread on it when i brought it about 3 week ago, i took it to a mag who make engine yamaha but he called me back and he said he will not touch it etc... anyway i got all the winter to do it myself.

So im mostly gonna clean the carb, tank , change the petcock etc, clean the carb but im there at the carb.

i got a fzr 600 but im in canada, so when i look on ebay for a carburator rebuild kit, i know i need 4 of them, but there is like 3 different set so if you can help me on this that would be great.....
