I had issues with it not staying running and fowling plugs left and right, I cleaned the carbs a couple months ago but i guess not good enough or the floats weren't perfect or something but after thoroughly going through the carbs.........tonight it came alive!!!!!! still needs a little work but it holds an idle and sounds pretty good

Hi from Malawi,

my 600 stood almost 6 years, similar problems...we have 30% Ethanol in the fuel, clogs the carbs even quicker and very badly.
Now fork seal changed, rear suspension dismantled and regreased...carbs cleaned...so also running well now.
Take her on a big trip today, 330 km...and tomorrow back, hope all works smooth.
The engine has already done over 130000 km, but still very good.
