My ghetto tail chop.

Post by b3g5l »

Just thought I would show off my lil tail chop. Its pretty ghetto as I really only did it to hold me over while waiting for the airtech one and will only be using for a while. i used a wood bit and a jigsaw so it honestly is pretty ghetto. But it looks good and now may think about cleaning it up a tad and keeping it around for the second bike but who knows. Think the whole thing took about 15 minutes to do and most of that was getting the tape guideline straight and level on both sides. I didnt have the bike with me when I did it so i would have liked the front to be a touch lower but whatever. I still need to clean up all the stuff that was under it but thats a later thing. Anywho on to the pics.

They came with the bike so I am not sure to be honest.I have some Ford dually ones that will take the place of them if I keep that tail around long enough.

A good start, but now you have all those internals hanging out that need sorting. The coolant bottle can be replaced with just about any kind of robust plastic or metal drink bottle and relocated up by the rad cap. A lot of guys trim away those goofy luggage / grab rails, and anything else that sticks out from under the panels.
