blown headgasket plz help

Hi guys my headgasket blew on my fzr 1000 2gh tell me is there a way i can reuse it or apply spray to it i torqued it 40nm when i fit it less than a month ago

I would not re-use it also I'm a foot pounds guy so I'm not sure what NM is equal to, was it a Yamaha head gasket? I put a Yamaha head gasket into mine a few months ago and torqued to spec in the book and no problems.

Don't reuse it. You will have to do the job again, sorry.

Did you check that the head was true before you fitted the last one?

Have you tried your local yamaha dealer? They still can get most parts for the genesis.
