Hi all,
Looking to replace my stock scratched exhaust can (muffler) with something shiny and near new (cheap). I have been scouring eBay off and no for a year with no luck. Wondering if people have tried aftermarket cans from other bikes and which ones fit the FZR400 headers?
Which exhaust can (muffler)

Re: Which exhaust can (muffler)
Loads of aftermarket cans are available that are cheap, it's the link pipes that are more scarce.
Many of the 600 3HE aftermarket cans fit well.
You could re-furb your old one.!
SP2 TK repainted

3EN2 standard can repainted (This was pretty rough before repaint-don't know what the marks are on pic;they are not on the actual can)

3HE 600 micron;this is a good starting point and very easy to adapt.

Micron: slightly stubbied to match 400 scale. Fitted to a 1WG Genesis

Cobra 3HE can and link pipe fitted to 3EN2.

Rubbish like this can be collected free from my bin.!

You may do better trying to source used rather than new as these are old bikes now and most vendors wont stock accessories for that era.
Can and link pipes run at about £40 delivered in UK.

A van will change the sound a bit but not add much if anything to the performance.
