thanks i wanted to see how it turned out i have a cover in the same condition i will try and not use to much jb weld myself

Yea I went overboard and its bloody hard stuff to sand back ........I should have put less and scraped a credit card or something across the surface to remove the excess.
And then done the "dents" at the bottom seperately .
