Hello
I've just purchased a FZR 600 95 track bike that runs total loss ignition. it runs fine but the battery in the bike can only last around five minutes before she cuts out, and wont start again.
Ive changed the battery for a replacement standard one and it dont seem to be much better.
so ive purchased a MotoBatt QuadFlex MB12U to hopefully sort out the short running time.
getting to the point. Does anyone know how Long a FZR, running total loss ignition should last out on track before it runs out of juice and needs to go back on charge / optimate. I was hoping for around half hour- 45 mins with this MotoBatt, am i kidding my self or is it possible. because at the moment i would only be able to get two laps in >.<

Re: HELP TOTAL LOSS IGNITION
A total-loss bike should last about an hour. If you're getting 5 minutes on a new battery, check your wiring for short circuits. Make sure the headlights aren't on, things like that ...

my 3tj will do at least two 10lap short circuits on it's battery, and it's running bdk ignition, but it gets plugged in after every use whatever!
