R6 brakes

Am I right in thinking that it's only the later ones that are a direct bolt on?

So these wouldn't be any good on my 1992 FZR600?

I got confused, it's rear shocks that are only good from 06 onwards, right?

I'd be super stoked if someone would take a quick look at the link and give me their opinion of it or these as I don't really know what to look for!

I know the 02 will fit on my 95. Is your 92 a single or double headlight?

All the calipers shown in this thread will fit your bike. It's the later models with the radial calipers that cannot be fitted.

Bear in mind too, the big gains in feel and power are from the R6 master cylinder.

That's great advice, thanks guys! Wanted another opinion before I dropped 150 queen quids on a setup. I could probably get a yzf or any other nissin MC and it would be great with the calipers right? Is it worth changing MC and leaving the stock calipers?

How come this one has a bracket for the fluid reservoir? I thought we had to fabricate one? Or is this a lucky find?

Radial master cylinder is incorrect ratio.
That is a homemade mount.
There is no hose or clips from the reservoir to the cylinder,
It is massively overpriced.
Have you any use for the odd clip-on.?

But dont buy T/Cat/Ace blue spots (external link pipe)=they are crap.!

Yzf/TDM blue spots are £65 ish/pair + p&p with pins and good pads.

Say I'd just purchased that MC on impulse, how would I go about fitting the reservoir mount? IS there a better or more specific search term I can use than reservoir mount? I can't find any good topics on here that cover it in the depth that someone like me would need! Ideally I'd like not to have to drill into my triple clamp, nor attach it with zipties. I've seen a version of the mount that seems to attache to the whole MC & lever bracket.

Finally got some pressure through the system! The new thundercat MC was way better. It's still really spongey, but I guess when I go to bleed it again tonight it'll start to tighten up. Just waiting on a new reservoir and reservoir mount and then I'll add them at the same time as the new calipers. Super stoked! Bike wasn't turning over last night, but that's a whole new problem to deal with.
