Looking for a engine rebuild kit for a frz600. Does any one know where I can get one?
Re: engine rebuild kit
A seal kit? Plenty on eBay. If not there I should be able to order you one from k&l.

Re: engine rebuild kit
you wont find a kit for bearings, you have to measure up the crank bearings and see what color you have to order

thanks ill check that out
Re: engine rebuild kit
As has been alluded to above..if you are looking for crank and rod bearings, you need to measure and calculate what you need before you order new stuff.
This means tear down completely, noting what is installed, and using the code on the crank to make the proper determination. It's all in the book-you should have one on hand ..preferably a factory Yamaha manual for that kinda stuff.

Re: engine rebuild kit
so my buddy that is doing the tear down for me asked me a good question and i cant seem to find anything on if it has ever been done or can be done. doing a 600 to a 1000 swap. what is the difference in the 1000 motor from the same year as mine? will it fit between the rails and how hard would it be to hook up? has anyone ever done it before? what are the differences between the fzr600 and fzr1000 frames? has any one ever heard of this being done? help please or am i just crazy?
