Any interest in a YZF based 660?
I've got all the parts including some very tasty upgrades that I'm no longer going to do anything with. My plan was to build a 660 engined FZR400, but I've completely changed my mind. I have all of the engine parts and electronics. The only missing pieces are the carbs. The engine is 100% dismantled.
Included:
YZF600R Barnett Clutch kit
FZR600 NRC peanut cover
FZR600 Powersports (NRC knock off) stator cover - light rash
Falicon adjustable cam sprockets
New crank bearings
New conrod bearings
New Rod bolts
New wrist pins / clips
New piston rings
New Gasket set
Cosmetic 3mm base gasket
FZR600 Crank
YZF600 Cases
YZF600 valve head
YZF600 cylinder head
YZf600 conrods
YZF600 pistons
- Should be everything needed to put it together and have a running 660 engine.
Also have:
New '89 FZR600 wire harness
Ignitech Ignition module
New Electrosport VR
Let me know if there is any interest. I'm not really willing to break up the engine parts at this time - all or nothing for now. If there is enough interest in the parts, I may reconsider. I'll try to get pics up this weekend.

Yes, that is a Single Sided Swingarm FZR600 that I built.

Hadn't given it much thought. Make me an offer.
Some of these parts are quite expensive being new from Yamaha. I probably have a grand into base engine components and the new parts for the build.

Re: F/S YZF660 engine
I am actually already in the build process and have not yet acquired the parts that I asked about. Already have the yzf connecting rods, so a spacer would be good, otherwise I would have to bore my existing rods, which I was leaning away from.
If you are willing to break up the lot, please let me know.

Re: F/S YZF660 engine
this interests me, considering I plan on doing a full engine rebuild in the next couple months. I dont have the cash right now, but if ya have the set in a few months im certainly interested. have you mic'd the conrods and crank by chance? I would have a machinist go over it anyway, but just curious.
