This is my first post. I've found answers to most of my problems, but not this one. Is there a way to get more trunk room under the back seat? I don't even have room for a mt.dew in there

Thanks bros

That's what I am thinking, I will keep a look out for a extra seat cowl to experiment with.Gizzard1533 wrote:What about reenforcing the fibreglass seat cover, attaching the seat lock it, filling in the void where the seat pokes though and hey presto you can get rid of the seat and have that extra couple of inches under your seat???

Cant do it with mine, got a tank cover not a full metal tank...paulbddl wrote:tank bag tank bag i have the same problem with my 89 fzr 1000 ihad to resort to a magnetic tank bag
I was actually thinking that because i have an extra seat with a white FZR cover on (for racing looks i guess). However, i have a lady who thoroughly enjoys the ride and would be sad is she ever lost he place on it.Gizzard1533 wrote:What about reenforcing the fibreglass seat cover, attaching the seat lock it, filling in the void where the seat pokes though and hey presto you can get rid of the seat and have that extra couple of inches under your seat???

If you got a spare seat cant you mess about with that one? The only real problem i can see is the seat catch at the back???Zantar6 wrote:I was actually thinking that because i have an extra seat with a white FZR cover on (for racing looks i guess). Yeah, I was going to mention this. To explain further, my A-stars bag has one strap that goes down, under, and around the the steering head tube and another that goes under and through the subframe (in front of the battery box).Fizzinatorr wrote:There are tank bags that come with clips
Think of all the extra weight those magnets would add thoughFizzinatorr wrote:There are tank bags that come with clips
Also I've seen modifications where high-power magnets are glued inside the plastic tank cover
Just a few options, I love my tank bag
