CDI repair POSSIBLE??

Post by Bigeaux3 »

Having issues with my CDI box and i NEED my bike running NOW its my only transportation. So has any one ever successfully attempted a CDI repair or dose any one have a diagram (resistor and capacitor sizes and ohms )? I would be in your debt eternally! :notworthy:

*ahem* TCI Repair Service :deal:

Not sure why you'd want to repair a CDI; the FZRs don't use CDI ... lol

PM sent with my mailing address. Like it says in the propaganda, if I can't fix it, I won't charge you for the attempt.

You just can't assume that the issue is with a resistor or capacitor - although it could be. May turn out to be a power transistor that is no longer available for purchase. You have to have the proper tools and know-how to repair those units.

Don has the expertise to repair them and is a trusted member here.
