Welcome to the site...the FZR is easy to maintain (eventhough it's carburated). Enjoy!

Well I rent this house and what it is is a big metal building. The front part of it is a giant storage building with 2 giant garage doors on the front, our house is in the back- its all in the same building though. This is a great house cause it's very efficient energy wise, and it also has 10ft ceilings. And I'm 6'4", so that's nice. Haha. Anyways its pretty cool, cause the landlord gave me a key to the shop part, so now I just walk out my door, walk around the building- then boom, I'm in the shop. And simple green on a magic eraser will make the seat look new?? What about where it's pulling up in the front, any suggestions on that?

After a good cleaning and replacing all the fluids, filters, and battery we tried to crank her. She fired right up. :)) I'm like really excited. My gf hates it thou. She doesnt like motorcycles(doesn't like how they're "unsafe") but yeah. I'm soooo excited. Tomorrow I'll let her run for a bit. It's a little late now and it's loud in this metal shop it's in!

Your girlfriend hates the motorcycle for two reasons actually.

1) Motorcycles are 'unsafe': This is sort of true, but so is skiing and eating fatty foods... (Heart Disease "The #1 American Killer")
2) The Motorcycle will steal your free time away from her! Jealousy,,, Girls hate the idea of us riding anything with a harder body than them!

So remember, be cautious when riding and give your girl plenty of attention!

Congrats on getting her fired up, looking forward to hearing how it runs and rides!

That's one thing I never have to worry about is my girl getting jealous of me riding my bike. My GF rides also on her own bike *03 R6* and she can hang tough with the guys who think they know how to ride. lol We ride a lot together and it's probably the most time we get to actually chill and spend together is riding.

Glad you got the bike running and I think for 250 you got a awesome deal. :notworthy:
