Anyone in the UK help?

HI, I have been looking around trying to track down a 3tj swingarm and I spotted this on ebay UK http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YAMAHA-FZR-40 ... 27c66e0405 . I am asking if anyone could help because the seller wants pickup only and I could really use the swingarm for my build when I get back from afghanistan. What I am asking is if anyone would be able to pick it up and mail just the swingarm axle and adjusters to the US? You could do whatever you want with the frame and subframe and I would be able to send money to cover shipping and your effort for picking it up through paypal. that's a bit too far for me to get, but if you can find a swingarm that is near to me or that someone will post uk only, (and have it sent to me) i should be able to post it.so long as paypal was used and the costs were covered. I sent a front fairing frame not so long ago without any problems! and the wife isn't working at the min so courrier pick up and deliveries don't tend to get missed!

Is there no way you could email the seller to see what the spindle diameter is to see if it's the same as 3TJ????

I think he wants the swingarm, axle and adjusters. (needs a comma in his list!) at least that's the way I read it! pivot spindles are def. different! to use a 3tj swinger on a 3en you need to bush down the internal diameter of the pivot 'hole' as the 1wg is a thinner spindle. pretty easy to do with a couple of top hat washers but mine had a nice flared tube arrangement..

I have 2 axles with adjusters for the 1wg deltabox swingarm. Taggy has it right. I am trying to get ahold of a 3tj swingarm, axle, and adjusters, and shock linkage if its there. I really want it for the ability to run a wider rim/tire easier than the 1wg deltabox singer. Since I am deployed and this will be my only bike when I get back I want to build it as nice as I can when I get back. I already tracked down an ohlins shock and full headers for the thundercat engine I have. Thank you for all the replies and offers. Yamster I will let you know and if you can help out I will be more than willing to pay for the gas and time as well as the shipping. The auction still has a while to go so it may end up that someone else buys it.

this matter is now in hand by Yamster and myself, any one in the UK need /want a frame i have no place to store it and Yamster is a bit pushed for space.

I was going to bid on it, but if yamaha_george is going to bid then I don't want to cause a bid war or anything stupid when it is unnecessary. I came on here asking for help as I have no way to pick anything up in the UK as I am currently in afghanistan. So Yamster, George if you can clue me in here quick that would be nice.

sorry to report that Y-Geo was taken to hospital after a fall whilst in the Park with our youngest, she called me after she called the ambulance and i have just left him in the Hospital over night as he has a nice bump on his head and mild concussion. needless to say he is thoroughly hacked off as he missed the auction final hours and I just read his notification that he lost the bid and B-J's note of how much to go to.

Sorry is all I can say on his behalf I know he is very upset at not being able to follow through, he will be furious in the morning when i tell him you all missed out.

Accidents happens, more important for him to heal up fast. He is awesome in my book for even offering to help, Tell him not to worry about it as I have 8 more months to search around and find one, so no hurry. Best wishes on a fast recovery.
