The 3EN-00 is just the ignitor prefix; Yamaha liked to put weird things there.

Judging from the swingarm, I'm going to say that's a 3EN2.

It could be what we call in England a 'Bitsa'. A bit of that bike, a bit of this bike....... lol

Whats the chassis number? Might be able to identify it through parts manuals (shouldn't need last 2 digits if you want to keep it private).

Nice repaint on it.

Hi,

It looks like you have a 3EN1 (confirmed by your frame number) appears pretty original from the parts shown in your photos; front fairing, swingarm, cdi unit etc.

Have a look at this link to a pdf with more details on the FZR400 variants

definitely a 3en1. The only thing that doesn't look correct are the lowers, they look like they're off a fzr1000?

Don:
The 3en1 had the braced swing arm, the 3en2 didn't(commonly know as the 90 swingarm in the US).
fzr660/400: fzr400 3en1 frame, 3en2 swinger, custom single seat subframe, fzr660 motor conversion, APE adjustable cam gears, full D&D 4-2-1 exhaust, falicon clutch basket, ignitech ignition, R6 front end with tz250 wheel, ohlins shock, storz steering damper, tzr250 rear wheel.

weighs 166kg wet (25kg lighter than my stock fzr600).
