Sharing wheel dust/oil seal sizes

Post by Clanky »

I've been getting new wheel bearings and fortunately all the sizes are listed in the Wiki so that helped save a few quid by avoiding the Stealership’s prices. But the dust/oil seals aren’t listed in the Wiki and the prices are ridiculous (almost as much as a bearing). I’ve found a UK source for the seals which is about 1/3 the price and I’ve added a link below.

Front Seals:
Left
45x56x6 (id/od/w)
Man no: 9310545017

Right
22x42x7 (id/od/w)
Man no: 9310222014

Rear Seals:
Left
42x56x6(id/od/w)
Man no: 9310542024

Right
25x47x7 (id/od/w)
Man no: 9310225044

Get them much cheaper here:

If there are any mistakes or variations let me know and I'll amend the details.

Nigel,
check allballs.co.uk the prices are good and the seals are available from them too.
If you have the oil seal Yamaha numbers that should give you the sizes within their code. I used that when buying for our company when Y_G and i were the Yamaha service center.
