added too much oil please help
i have a 96 fzr 600 i recently added too much oil and rode it 45 miles the next day the bike stalled on me and wouldnt start so i drained the oil and changed it adding the correct amount i also changed the spark plugs but the bike wont start it tries but wont stay running what could be the issue
Re: added too much oil please help
Air filter may be full of oil.
Or airbox full of oil.
This means your new spark plugs are likely fouled.

Could be carbs, could be fuel pump, could be a number of things unrelated to the oil. Could be something you knocked loose while removing the fairings and changing the oil. First thing is first, does it have spark? Is it getting gas? Can you hear the fuel pump prime when you first turn on the key? Carb clean will usually fix 90% of problems with this bike, but rule out spark and other fuel issues first.
