Man, that took a while. Better late than never. I've been stuck in the garage - what have I missed. No power in Chico?

Good luck.

Hey, I am just getting my bike pieced back together from a wreck this past fall. I'm almost done but I am waiting on a few things including the EX6 to get here any day(The EP7 and EX6 are the exact same other than the EP7 is a mechanical driven speedo and the EX6 is magnetic). I chose to go with the magnetic version and that part of the installation should be pretty simple but I could use some help on the lights and wiring. There is some good information here about the relays and I like that the fuel gauge can be used as a temp gauge but I am a little slow when it comes to electrical work and I don't know where to begin to make these things happen. Which wires require relays? Does anybody have pictures of the installed wiring or a list of how the wiring was done to work with this speedo? Thanks in advance!

As an option if you just want some basics or add-ons like a clock, max/min, additional trip computer etc you can use a bicyle computer that allows a high speed range such as the Sigma Sport line.
It's a cheap easy way to add digital spedo if you've modded away from the mechanical system. I have one that started as a BC800 and I re-packaged it to put the buttons/battery in one box just in front of the ignition and the main unit above the gauges without it looking too much like a bike computer. I mostly like having a clock in view but the max and average speed and trip counter is a bonus (I use the oem trip counter as my fuel gauge as I expect most of you do).
This is an old picture, did this in about 2003 or so and it has held up great and cost me all of about $20 at that time.
