I actually have those filters and they didn't work as well as I wanted, and I saw another thread on her using the stock air box boots to lengthen the intake but the pods don't fit bc I didn't have an old airbox to take the boots from and the closest thing I could find was much longer, which means that the pods don't fit as is

Fair enough - my point was not that you have to duplicate exactly the typical Uni dimensions, but rather that you need as much surface area as you can get, and what you have isn't nearly enough ...
