Thanks :-) Im happy with how it has been turning out as well. It's the FZR I've always wanted.

Looking good Dave. Can't wait to see the new color. Are you messing with the plastics at all?

What did you do with all the wiring????

Thanks :-) I might trim up the tail section.... I'm debating it because Id have to change the tail light, but I do have an extra set of tail plastics so it is tempting...

Concerning the wiring, it was pretty easy to hide it all. It fit snugly behind the new headlight assembly, and I didn't chop anything so I could always go back to the original headlight setup.

The tail light is definitely the weak spot for my mod (aside from the shady paint job). I was able to make the old tail light work just to get it back on the road - but a nicer/smaller tail light would be key. the problem i have is all the lights I see to me look like some cyborg eyes from some 70's sci fi show :)

Good to know you can get the wires neatly tucked away without major snipping.

Added a 14t front sprocket the other day and it made a noticeable difference in the pickup of the bike. Still haven't gotten the brake line for the front, been on a time crunch lately.

UPDATE:

I'll post some pics up when I get a chance, but I am also writing this out in case anyone else wants to do what I have done in the future.

I got a set of Fly dirtbike bars ( the flex type ) mounted on my FZR finally. They went right in to the Seca 2 upper triple tree clamp without any issues. I did have to push the forks down in a little bit further, but not too much overall.
The stock cables are the right length, and I didnt run into any issues with them being routed the way they were supposed to be stock.
The front brake line however, is too short. Just the portion running to the splitter though. I took an extra brake line I had off of a parts bike ( it was a caliper brake line from the front of another FZR ) and it was just the right length for it to reach the bars. The last thing I am going to do is put a set of bark busters on so if this thing ever finds itself on its side hopefully they will take the impact instead of the levers. Also, they help keep the wind off your hands in the winter time. ( I do ride year round )

The FZR is still running great, I can't believe how well it has turned out considering everything it had going against it from the get go.

Other thing, it's crazy how big of a difference replacing the spark plug caps made. It got rid of the top end hesitation I was running into, and it's a really cheap fix. Thanks to all of you who either helped, or posted up the right information so I could find it to help me finish my bike.
