Re: Oil strange color: please advise...
So, fresh oil and coolant (50/50 blend). Just took her for a ride around the neighborhood, and although I wanted to get her up to speed and make sure any (possible) condensation burned out, I was a little nervous to push it, and get too far from the garage.
I'm letting it sit for a bit to allow the oil to settle back down to the sight glass. Hopefully that will show clean oil!!!! The little bit that I can see now looks ok. Fingers crossed.
Next will be having a look at the plugs to see if they look weird. Unfortunately, the carbs have been running non-sync'd so I'm sure that will show on the plugs as well.
Appreciate all the support folks.

Turned out it must have been the condensation, or at least I hope that conclusion holds true. After a full fluid swap, and some test rides, the oil is looking good.
After all these changes to the bike (both front and rear suspension swap, R6 caliper and MC swap, etc) it's a little weird riding her. Will take some getting used to. But I can tell already I'm digging the changes (especially the upgraded suspension!).
Here is a shot of her after the successful test ride...

Good looking bike! I like what you did to the tail section.... gives me some ideas for mine. I'm glad that everything seems to be working out well for you.

I really wanted to cut the tail up higher in the very back - but wimped out for fear of losing the hind most mounting tab, and the little bit that hooks the tail light fairing. There is a pic on this site (or the archive) that did a phenomenal job. It's also a black paint job - but better!
