Supersprox for the FZR. I've done it.

Post by thatkid »

Ok folks, I've talked with Supersprox and to get a standard price on their high end sprockets I have to order a min of 12. They will cut them in their European factory and ship them over to the US with their standard order. All 12 do have to be the same so I want to go with 50T 520 chain setups. This paired with a 15T front sprocket will give the best performance AND longevity. A properly taken care of Supersprox sprocket lasts about 18k miles. They will also do a lifetime warranty on the rear sprocket if it's purchased with a chain and front sprocket at the same time. Everyone needs chains and sprockets right? Might as well get yours early if you don't need one just yet. It will be about 3 months before I get them in my hands anyway between production and shipping. Should be able to get them to you guys just in time to get them installed before riding season.

Just the rear sprocket - $75 While it's only a $5 savings off retail you have to look at it as a custom sprocket which would normally be $110.
Chain and sprocket set - top of the line RK chain -(RK 520GXW) - $210 shipped to your door in the lower 48. For the RK GB520GXW (gold links) add $15.

Only $210 (includes shipping)

Full kit also come with a t-shirt! Retail of this kit would be $255 I really hope you guys will take advantage of this offer! It was a long time in the making.

Ah if only you could mix and match. I'd be all over this if I wasn't using cad's old vfr swingarm.

I'm pretty sure they have a sprocket in their line for the VFR so I could offer the same deal if they do, it just won't count towards the FZR sprockets I need in order to get the run produced. Let me check on it.

---Update

They do offer one but it's a bit more. As is the chain because of the extra links. PM'd

Listen up!

Yes, you can buy the Vortex kit, for around $149, like a lot of folks have in the past - including me, but here's the issue - the Vortex rear is aluminum. The Supersprox hybrid rear sprocket lasts 3x longer, so you're saving BIG time over the long haul. A replacement Vortex rear sprocket is like $70, so add it up!

Is gold the only color option on the chain?

I believe they do red, gold, blue and green. Not sure if it's only in the xso chain or if they do it in the gxw as well. I'll check.
