Thunderace Pistons

Can Thunderace pistons drop straight into an fzr1000 89 and up? Is the piston wall clearance the same?

I have read that the only difference is the Chunderace piston is forged.

I forgot I even posted this here since I don't log on here much. I ordered some, the differences are that they are a lower compression and have smaller valve cutouts. I am not sure if they just sit farther away from the head or what. Either way they use the same rings, and since I am using a head spacer I won't worry about it. You can view my build here:
