Hey whats happing guys? So i have been online surfing looking at some possible ideas for my 92 fzr 600. One of the big things i wanna do is a diffrent tail on my bike. Seems like everyone goes with the r6 type tail. I been checking out the 05 r1 tail thinking it might be pretty sick looking. Just wanted to get some feed back and see if anyone else has done it and if you have i would love to see some pics.
Thanks
Carl

it can be done but you need to decide if your modifying your tail frame like i did or modifying your frame to accept the tail sub frame from the donor bike, both take quit a bit of modding so if your not handy b careful going down the road literally and figuratively you wouldn't want your seat coming off while going into a nice twisty corner.

Re: Idea Mabe possibly
05 r1 would include re routing your exhaust under the tail or you would have a void where the pipes would be. .. it's "doable" but thats one reason others have stayed 04 or earlier.

04-06 R1 tail is very much doable ;p
It all depends on what you want, and just HOW much want it
I used an 04-06 R1 tail on my FZR:

^^ Dude I can't believe that's even an FZR. Nice job, especially the tank and seat.
Re: Idea Mabe possibly
Nice job on the exhaust too.
