Powder Coaters

Post by Bananas »

Can anybody (uk) reccommend a decent powder coater. Both wheels are a bit tatty to be honest, and as it's looking like I'm going to have the front end it bits again soon (see my other thread) I was considering getting the wheel blasted and coated whilst it's in it's component parts.

Cheers! Enjoy the sun whilst it lasts, and keep it sticky side down!
Trying to keep it sticky side down since 1984

One day, more that 2 of these will be working at the same time...

Hi,
Y-Geo had a company in windsor (as in castle) area that did pick up & drop frame & swinger 100UK pounds.
The other place he used for his wheels was Surrey metal finishers in Hersham surrey.

He was not too pleased with windsor as their preping of screw threads was non existant he had to clean tap ever hole on the frame as they were full of powder ! and this a company that advertises in MCN he was not happy I endured a10 min fone call about it 5am when they frame turned up at 09.00 about useless gripper.

Hershams crew no nothing about bike part prep so he did the masking himself and that went smoothly (his polished lips stayed polished.)
