Not sure where that is. Is that in Maine? I searched Google maps.

JM,
Sorry, it is easy to forget that people on the forum are in a totally different country especially when they do not put in a location :-{

Nik,

Easy mistake to make for a newbie :rofl: but JM should put where he is at makes life far simpler as we see by this cock up of yours :whistle

Any way how is Allen doing these days I know he added about 25,000 square feet to my old shop.

Tell him I am on my way in (he might tidy up LoL) and I need a dirt bike to use please, as my B in L "forgot" to mention that the Estate beater DT175 has "died".

Actually do me a favour go pick up the DT from Steve (I will ping him) and take it to Allen I figure it will need a rebore.
That way I will not have a loaner bike too long from Allen as he is bound to give me some monstrosity, big heavy thumper and try to get me to like it enough to buy it. Remember the XT 600? Hee Hee. Remeber the look on his face when we rode in ?

JM,
thanks for the addition,Yeh George is not a guy to get on the wrong side of for sure, I remember at his wedding his best man told Camala, if you piss him off and he smiles and walks away leave it alone. She asked err why, so the guy takes out his 4 front teeth winked and put them back.

Y-G,
Steve had the bike ready, there is hole in the crank case from a rock, some one took the bash plate you made for it Off :-{ I will strip the motor and cut the hole, when you get in you can weld a patch in place like you did B's RD
give us a chance to check if the "cooler" works LoL I told Steve to find the bash plate, if not I have some 14G stainless left over from the new lab here.Oh and my assistant said to say Hi, I keep telling her Camala will dig her eyes out LoL

Alright, I think I am close. I have the floats set at 22mm, and the mixture screws at 2.5 turns out. I have my clips on the needles at 2 up.

It runs good now, just a small stumble around half throttle. I almost want to say screw it, and just live with it, but another part of me wants to.fix it. Any ideas?

man you've spent some good time on this dont give up! Did you try doing a heat tune on the headers? I know you said you backed the mixture screws out but did you take a temp gun to it to make sure they are even and within spec?
