My FZRs

Post by old_fogey »

White one is mine (91 FZR rebuilt from ground up) Black one is my son's (94 FZR needs fork seals and carbs redone - but he is leaving for the military soon, so we are waiting and just enjoying the days I don't have college to ride).

Hi Fogey I would like to first say those are two great looking FZRs hope you and your son have a great time riding them. Second of all can I advise that you take care of those fork seals as soon as possible? I know it doesn't seem like a big deal but if you lose enough oil the forks can bind, and you definately don't want this to happen while riding.

It only really takes about $30-$45 in materials and about 2-3 hours to do on your own for a simple conventional fork. I highly recommend you take care of it at your soonest opportunity!

Thanks Freestyle! .. yeah! I took my final last night, so I have 2 weeks off. Hope to get that done after reading up on that part. The carbs won't take long, but the seals I've never done myself.
Gonna search the wiki for good help :)

Thanks a million though!!!
