Carb noises

when i started the bike up in the garage yesterday, i noticed that were my 4th cylinder is, on that carb, there is a tapping/cherpping sound, not coming from my block or head, but directly from my carb on that side. and my bike has a real hestitant throttle response. i still cant figure it out, my boots are good too. good gas, air filter, i was thinking blown head gasket, or vavles. any ideas fellas

Pull the tank cover and air box, watch the slide as you blip the throttle. Does it move slowly, at all, in synch with the others?
