Its getting fuel and there is spark just can't get my baby to fire any suggestions will be greatfully appreciated.
Re: need a little help
Could be the firing order. Did you have the plug wires off? You might double check your plug wires.

Hi,
with the VR biting the dust it may have taken part of the TCI with it :-{
Ask DonTZ125 how to remove the TCI cover to inspect it

Re: need a little help
The only way I've successfully opened a TCI has been to soak it in acetone overnight. Hitachi used the waterproof coating on the circuit board as the glue that holds the box shut; unfortunately, dissolving it enough to get the board out also ruins it as a protective coating, so - even if there is nothing wrong - the board must be stripped and re-coated.
Failing to recoat it means leaving a very expensive bare PCB exposed to the elements - and if you thought CONNECTORS fouled out under rainy-day conditions ...

when you say stripped you mean of components or of the gumph that is left of the coating after acetone hits it?
Re: need a little help
Stripped of the rubbery, perforated gunk that used to be conformal coating.
Removing the components - gahh! What a nightmare that would be!

Re: need a little help
Dealer's choice - basically anything that's electrically insulating and will protect the components.
