I made my cover for my battery and got my passanger pegs in, made a license plate holder, still waiting on the gas cap, and need to order a passenger seat. I want to paint the rims black, and get a new windshield. But heres some updated pics

Rusty,
The bike gets better and better, but a word of caution do not paint your wheels black but rather add Yellow to the body work PLEASE
The reason for the request is very simple Cages drivers are always blind and their first words are always "sorry I did not see you " you are making their blindness worse by having an all Black bike (yep look cool standing still) but in tree lined streets with light & shade and at night you are INVISIBLE
In my life I have had two almost totally black bikes to ride, both of them nearly cost me my life.
My somewhat adventurous life has taken its toll and the last 8 months have not been pleasant for sure, at 64+ I am fortunate to still be here, I would like you to see your 65 b'day and still be riding because it is still a blast !
well I hope it is, the bike is outside in the Hospital parking lot and my lovely little wife Camala has brought in my new Fieldsheer Jacket & pants + Helmet & Gloves just waiting to see the Doc to sign me off (unless my heart is racing and blood pressure is up just for thinking about the ride home )

I really appreciate your concern of safety for me and other riders. People always say how dangerous bikes are but most accidents are caused by someone other then the driver of the bike. I understand this since less then a year ago I lost a close friend in an motorcycle accident. There is always the chance of something bad happening but they are so much fun to ride! Ill put my color scheme on hold for now since I have other things higher in the priority list.

If as we get older we do not pass on our hard won knowledge, WTF are we doing here? is my philosophy
Ride safe

Got my bike out today, after charging the battery it started right up! Idles and runs just great except for when you crank on it it really bogs down then takes off, Probably needs some adjustment.

Yesterday I put in a stage 3 jet kit and it runs WAY better! Im still doing some adjustments to the needles and then getting it sync. It still dogs down when i crank on the throttle though, dont know why
