bend the little metal bit toward where the needle would be to lower the fuel level in the carbs ? yes ?
I have bent this and the level has not changed ,
bend towards carb (needle)to lower level , bend toward float bowl (away from needle)to raise .. correct ?
Float levels , am I missing something ?

you should be setting the Float height as per the tool that Rage Digital came up with, saves a lot of messing about

ssimon,
I did the setup to measure fuel level with little plastic tubes on each carb and it was just impossible for me. That is when I decided to just set the float height. Much easier to see and measure and it works great. I had to reset the float height a couple of times to get it where I wanted it but it is worth doing.

Re: Float levels , am I missing something ?
truth , all I was going to do was get one with messing around with the tube ,measure that one , make a device like is shown above to do the rest . I have used that technique on my other bike but I had the height it should be set at to make the card. This time I dont yet ..
