Went for a 200mi ride yesterday (I needed to burn off some serious steam) and got 49MPG. I'm interested to see how it does this week in rush hour. It still smells a little rich, but it's running better than it ever has.

Dig it... I knew my float levels weren't correct, so I decided to make a tool to check them all. I made 2 of them. 1 @ 24mm and the other at 22.5mm.
The bottom photo simply show how I scored the card to know where to cut.

Rage, the card idea worked out great. I could only find one card at the moment so I added two different heights on the same card seeing as the floats only touch one side at a time.

Although I didn't take a photo, I did some additional cutting to clear the hinged area. Here is a graphic (in green) to give you an idea of what else I cutaway:

at 24mm my floats sat above the hinge so I didn't need to notch that.
