As of 2011, Bridgstone no longer makes stock size sporty tires for the 89 fzr600 -- however, Continental does. -- it is called the Conti GO! and you can order it in the 130/70/18 and 110/70/17 combo.
I will admit that it appears from the literature that this is not as sporting as what Bridgestone was offering as ideal footwear, but i would hazard a guess that these Conti's will last longer.
SInce my bike will remain BONE stock (ahhhh!) , this is a great find.

i have conti force on my ninja 600 and they are NOT bad tires at all, great grip and are holding up well
