Question...how many times did you measure BEFORE you cut? How exactly did you go about measuring? You can probably shave a few mils off one side (or both) to get it to even out. If i were in your shoes I wouldn't do anything else until I can get that YZF swingarm together next to an FZR swingarm to double check..and double check some more.

8.47-8.50 is the total distance you want. i think 9.25 was the over all lenght of the yzf600r swingarm. when i did mine i measured centered 1st, marked it and measured out 3 times to check it for trueness. i think i cut .375" off each side and then i grinded a few mills off yet also since it fit kinda snugg in my frame. i didnt use the stupid washers either then mounting it in the frame but with everything together yo ushould be at 8.75 with dust caps and washers i belive.

So you didn't use your washers for the pivot bushings ? And when you cut the pivots where they identical on both sides or did one have alil more then the other ? I measured it out from center with digital needle reader .375 out.

are you sure you are not seeing the shittyness of the welds playing a trick on you? you might have to grind them down also for the dust caps to fit on. you can use washers, i just chose not to since i didnt have a rubber mallet or an extra set of hands to help shove the arm in.

i think that was it<the shittyness of the welds playing a trick on me> but one side is still shorter then other not sure but i know i measured from center also , i grinded down the bushing caps and grinded the welds a little bit ..with the caps on it just a hair under 8.75 , i need bearings and a front sprocket and im ready to install this bitch unless somone buys it .b4 lol

the bearing will not slide right in will they ? i think somone said they will not sit flush .Oh i need rear wheel spacers does anyone know if the r6 and yzf600 wheel spacers compatible is the axle same size ?

You know, there are better ways to get your sprockets to line up than offsetting your swingarm.

The bearings will not just slide in, they are a press fit, but you just cut .375 off the bearing bore, so you have to make it deeper to make the bearing fit. The way I made the bore deeper was to take one of my old bearings and shave the OD down on a bench grinder so that it was a slip fit and then used a dremel to open up the ID of the pivot tube while maintaining a lip to press against. Id test fit the bearing for depth regularly. Once I got it where I wanted it, I pressed the new ones in. Oh, I also did not use the washers under the caps.

The R6 spacers wont work, the axle is larger.

i just looked up a parts photo of the rear wheel , im missing 2 collars one that goes between the brake arm and wheel and does a collar go between the wheel and cush , thats how the diagram has it set up plus a wheel spacer. I dont think i will find these out in the market , ebay and CL dont have nothing .. Seems i have to order these parts from dealer which will set me back about 100 now ..

There are 3 spacers. One between the hub and swingarm, one between the hub and wheel, and one between the wheel and the brake mount. Check ebay for axles and check with a few sellers who are parting bikes out they might have them. The cheapest method for a new hub/wheel spacer is to buy a new hub. You can get them for 10-20, just double check it has the spacer before you bid. The other spacer youll probably have to get on an axle, or order individualy. You could check some bike salvage yards. Some ship parts. Might be chaper than a dealer.
